Dear God I could tell you generational stories of why these laws are so important. If your daughter or granddaughter married a man who beat them, deserted them came back, and you could only get a credit card in the name of that man. If she tried to run there was nowhere to go. She could be dragged back. Come on what is wrong with this state? Do you really think you can make women second class citizens? Again? Do you want your loved ones abused? I'm a psych nurse 43yrs and now all the hard work to make nursing a profession is gone. We have less people in the medical field take out professional nurses you are screwed. Keep us barefoot pregnant and subservient you will be sorry, you need us. And shame on you if you think it's ok to pass this.
