Allowing the carrying of firearms and non-lethal weapons on public college and university campuses is putting in danger not only the students and staff of those colleges and universities but also of the many people and children that visit and/or participate in activities daily at those locations. The majority of shootings at schools and other locations such as clubs, workplaces, etc. that occur is done by those attending or having attended those places. There are better ways to prevent these attacks for happening (cameras, see something/say something, secure entrances, etc.).
