I have to stay neutral on this because you say you're going to modify what is paid to special ed but you don't say whether you're gonna lower it or raise it. So here is what is said about the last bill: OUR legislators need to fund FAIR and ADEQUATE revenue to pay for public schools. Special education is expensive. It's necessary for the students that need the most help. In the long run, it's much less expensive to give them an education than it is to take care of them after they end up in prison. Look at the statistics.! If we don't teach children to read and write, they end up in drug rehab or in jail. Check it out for yourselves.
