Are we cavemen? This is not a rhetorical question. Advancing a bill like this would reverse policies that serve an enlightened and civilized society. It’s hard to imagine that we cannot prioritize the safety of a very large and vulnerable segment of our population. Crisis centers are places of compassion, wisdom, and safety. It’s hard to even enumerate how bad this bill is. It’s not the direction we want to go in this country.
