In May of 2026, I will be graduating from UNH. However, with attending such a school, I have found myself building connections and relationships with people who will still be attending classes in New Hampshire for a bit. Not only do I have friends but I have family who will be leaving our home state of Massachusetts to attend schools in New Hampshire; their children will be growing up in New Hampshire. My fear with this bill is that it will cause too much leniency when it comes to weapons such as firearms. If this bill passes, what will happen next? Will elementary schools have to allow people with guns to step foot into their establishment. I don’t want anymore shootings. I don’t want to continue to pray everyday that my nephews, friends, and family survive the school day. I can’t continue with that anxiety eating away at my mind.
