Allowing unregulated firearms and weapons on public campuses does nothing but endanger the lives of students and faculty as a whole. Recent shootings and deaths related to gun violence across the United States have been caused by the lack of gun control rather than the lightening of it. Removing restrictions on firearms and weapons instead raises the risk of more related attacks and deaths. There is, additionally, no such thing as a "non-lethal" weapon, only a weapon that has not been used lethally. I strongly urge you, not as my State Representatives, but as my fellow citizens to oppose the passing of this law for the safety of students across New Hampshire, including myself.
