I am a New Hampshire born and raised college student that is currently living on one of these campuses. This bill poses a direct public safety threat to me and my peers. In the last two decades we have seen countless stories of guns bringing horrible tragedy to our schools. To places where we are meant to guarantee the safety of our children and our peers. This bill completely undermines that safety and benefits nobody but lobbiests for the NRA. You are asking for a large increase in campus security focus for no real gain to the student body. Students that are already feeling the effects of previous budget cuts would now have even more funding cut off in order to pay for this Republican power fantasy.
