Protecting newborns from exposure to Hepatitis B - which is a virus capable of living outside of human bodies and tissues for at least 7 days - on common surfaces - invisible to the naked eye - and a large percentage of people - who are just regular folks (not having drug seeking behaviors nor sex linked - have Hep B infections and can transmit infection without being aware. 80% of infants without protection from the vaccine who are exposed to Hep B will become infected which will result in a large proportion of them becoming sick and dying early. This vaccine is the infant's protection. How many vaccine preventable deaths are acceptable to you? To me the answer is none.
