Jenna Binkhorst

To whom it may concern, I am writing to you as an OB/GYN, currently practicing in New Hampshire, in strong opposition of this bill. Furthermore I am a parent to children who will go through the public school system in New Hampshire. The fact that this body would even consider perpetuating medically inaccurate information to young, impressionable children goes against the very goals that this body should hope to hold. How can we expect young people to trust us if we do not provide them with accurate information? How can we claim to be worthy of their education if we do not teach them accurate information? We would never propose to teach inaccurate historical facts to further our own military agenda. The fact that this type of bill is even open for discussion today should shame you. Furthermore, it has been well studied and documented that teaching medically accurate sex education LOWERS unintended pregnancy rates. Feel free to look up this data for yourself - there is an abundance. Please reach out with any questions or concerns, Dr Jenna Binkhorst OB/GYN
