I’m old. I almost died from measles as a child. I remember classmates contracting polio; they were crippled for life. I remember visiting hospitals as a girl-scout to “cheer up” the kids in iron lungs. I’ve seen adults in absolute agony from having shingles; they had chicken pox as children. We live in communities, not on individual islands. The anti-vaccine campaign is based on ignorance and is cruel and selfish. Please oppose this lunacy! The viruses we eliminated will return…..
