I oppose this bill because I feel public health announcements have long been used to help people understand public health issues. If people are not receiving vaccines, we will be seeing more outbreaks of diseases like measles, which can be very serious in adults and in some children. The elderly, pregnant women and any who are immune-compromised will suffer the most, when an outbreak happens. This also includes more serious diseases such as polio. These illnesses could make a significant come back if vaccines are no longer given, or less widely accepted and used. Please do not cause more deaths in our state.
