I support this bill in hopes that New Hampshire students will experience the benefits that result when educators and legislators prioritize physical activity spread throughout the school day. Improved attention and focus in the classroom and strengthened social interaction skills are two important benefits that are often cited when assessing unstructured play in a structured setting (recess). When it is possible for this to happen outdoors the benefits multiply.. Please consider what children need, as individuals and as members of the school community.. Lew Prillaman Retired Teacher
