Dear Committee Members, I am against the death penalty as punishment for murder. Not only is the death penalty cruel, but it also can't be undone if later evidence proves that someone is innocent. Also, it's very costly to the state and has been shown not to reduce violent crimes. Thank you, Deborah Bruss
