Education Freedom Account (EFA) and an Education Tax Credit (ETC) scholarship in the same program year should be allowed as it is now. The reason being the ETC is solely based on the income levels. These two programs work together to make the educational choice a possibility to families with lower income. Passing of this bill means some of the vulnerable families will not be able to access the education choice and unable to access the education and related activities the children from these families are currently getting. So I would request the committee not to pass this bill.
