Family members deserve the right to help protect their love ones from self harm or harming another family member. The courts within a very short period of time should be the entity that protects all parties rights. Suicides are becoming a real concern in NH. Unfortunately, when a person attempts to take their own life by the use of a firearm, the attempt is usually successful. There are signs prior to a person committing harm against another person or persons. If a family member recognizes these signs they are powerless to remove a firearm from the family member so as to have time to defuse the reasons for the desire to exert harm on others. As a person who has experienced a family crisis, I ask you to vote for this bill.
