It's the function of state governments to research, summarize, and advocate for actions that benefit the citizens of the state. Preventing government agencies from educating the public about the benefits of vaccines is a fundamental function of public health agencies. Why would we want to specifically prevent them from doing so? The science on vaccines has NOT changed. Why would our response change? This attach on vaccines is absolutely ridiculous, and in other states it's creating a resurgence of the very diseases that vaccines helped eradicate. And vaccines work best when a large majority of the public buys in. People need to be confident that our public health officials are following the most modern research to make decisions to advise people on the best plan of action. Do not take the ability away from those people to advise on what to do in matters of health.
