As a student at UNH, I would not feel safe going to class if I knew that my peers had guns on them. I think that as school shootings become more of the norm, it is imperative to foster a culture in NH where it is clear that guns are prohibited in any public space. I understand the New Hampshire motto “Live free or die”, however that does not apply when it is others safety in your hands.
