I am alarmed, as a Christian and citizen of NH, at the effort to reinstate the death penalty and urge you not to pass any of these bills. There is ample evidence that it is ineffective in deterring crime (which has fallen while we have not had the death penalty), that it is not applied fairly, and that innocent people are executed. It’s also barbaric and immoral and cruel. It's not justice.
