I unknowingly bought numerous plants early in my gardening journey that were contaminated with neonicotinoids. For the next probably 4 summers I kept seeing “drunk” flying and dead bees.?? I finally figured it out and pulled out any remaining plants. They are deadly for all critical insects and if left unchecked it will be catastrophic for our food chain and environment in general.
