It has been proven that neonicotinoids kill insects and also result in habitat degradation through runoff, especially in streams, wetlands, and other aquatic systems. Herbicides and pesticides are among the most commonly identified threats to New Hampshire’s Species of Greatest Conservation Need, underscoring pesticide pollution as a statewide issue affecting both species and ecosystems. NH is proud to be a state that so many come to vacation in and live in to enjoy the nature that surrounds us. If we don't stop the sale of seeds treated with neonicotinoids, then many NH residents will be adding to the decline of so many of our species without realizing they are doing it. Many optional seeds can be purchased without neonicotinoids. Please support the Bill to restrict the sale of agricultural seeds treated with neonicotinoids.
