I oppose HB1493 because it wasn’t a good idea in 2025 and it is still not a good idea in 2026. Who knows what kind of bias these “videos” will bring to our classrooms without local control over the content, tone, and context. The Governor vetoed similar legislation and there is no reason to believe that this version wont be vetoed as well.
