AFT-NH believes that students in New Hampshire must be able access their education free from discrimination of any kind. This legislation is critical because it requires education service providers, who receive school vouchers funded with public tax dollars, to adopt policies that comply with state and federal anti-discrimination laws and undergo annual reviews by the State Board of Education. These measures ensure accountability and help guarantee that all students—regardless of race, gender, disability, or socioeconomic status—are treated fairly.
