I have an elementary age student in public schools. I know how important recess is! He has a ton of energy and on bad weather weekend days, I see how no outside time has a negative effect. I can only imagine that multiplied by a ton of kids in a classroom! The science says kids need recess to make learning time better - and recess itself is learning - how to be a friend, navigate social situations, self-regulate. Please pass this bill.
