As far as I am aware no good has come from silencing those in the health, science and social welfare spheres. Historically speaking isn't that the root of fascism? To silence those that have differing opinions than those in power or to remove access to information that doesn't support a current regime's narrative. The general public needs access to more scientific evidence and unbiased facts not less.
