I submitted my opposition to HB 1221, because disability IS part of everyday life and needs to be reflected in our community schools. Our NH legislature should not be looking into moving students with higher support needs out of their home schools; we want our community to be INCLUSIVE OF EVERYONE. When this happens, we all benefit. We all have uniqueness and difference creating a hierarchy of belonging is not democratic.
