I support amateur radio license plates, and have supported them, being an FCC licensed amateur radio operator myself since 1979. My only concern is that if amateur radio plates are decided upon using the decal plate, the plate should allow for six characters, available on the plate itself, since FCC issued call signs are up to six digits ie: KA1CRN, I believe the current decal plates in use have a maximum of 5 digits available. There are 5 digit plates such as W1LAA, and 4 digit plates such as N1NH. All amateur radio operators should have a plate available. Lawrence Artz, Nashua, NH
