I urge you to strongly reject ALL death penalty bills. The death penalty was repealed in 2019 by a bi-partisan two thirds majority. The death penalty targets the poor, the mentally ill, and the people who usually have had difficult lives. People who have resources, usually get more humane sentences, and it is a misuse of public resources and does not restore justice. There are better ways to deal with violence, and more violence is not one of them. Vote against these terrible bills.
