Vote NO! relative to reinstating the death penalty for certain offenses against minors under 13 years of age. While the crime is horrendous, we need to understand the cruelty of the sentence, with no chance to restore right relationships. Most religious groups oppose this state killing, and opt for restorative justice. The wrong people have been executed, mostly people who have had violent upbringings and/or have mental health issues. Most are poor, while the people with resources can get more humane sentences. I write to one such person. Please vote NO!
