We are a civilized society, and we should not grant our state of New Hampshire the power to kill its own citizens – especially when life imprisonment achieves the same public safety goals without the moral cost of becoming killers ourselves. Moreover, the death penalty is irreversible and the risk of executing even one innocent person outweighs any benefit. Please do not support HB 1737.
