My name is Karen Bemis and I live and vote in Bristol, and recreate in beautiful Newfound Lake. I SUPPORT this bill because improperly stored road salts and de-icing chemicals can cause runoff, which can harm drinking water sources, lakes, and aquatic ecosystems. These conditions are ripe for dangerous cyanobacteria blooms, which are harmful to humans, pets, and could be detrimental to the tourism that NH businesses rely on.
