Separating children with disabilities and “educating” them in separate facilities from their peers would be an unconscionable choice. It is well established that everyone’s education is improved when children with disabilities are main streamed and kept in school and classes with their peers. This bill will separate these children into facilities where they will have fewer opportunities. Separate but equal is never equal.
