In my seventy-two years of life, I have witnessed Lake Winnipesaukee go from a pristine body of water to a lake where cyanobacteria blooms have literally threatened the lives of our dogs and I'm sure pose a health risk to family and friends. In the middle of summer on some of the hottest days we have not been able to swim in our beautiful lake. I cannot imagine the economic impact that will result if something is not done immediately to remedy this situation. Studies have shown that part of the reason for these blooms is runoff from properties using "neonic" coated seeds and pesticides. Please support this bill, help save our precious lakes, birds and bees.
