I oppose this bill. It unjustly targets property owners with the intent to punish and tax them until they can no longer afford to own their property. I own a home in which I plan to retire to. I bought it while I could afford it because certainly the cost will only increase. For now I share my home with people who bring their tourism dollars to NH. It helps support the local economy and the state both. I pay taxes on those stays. More taxes are just a way to undermine property owners until the are forced out of their properties. This is not the foundational beliefs of our state and therefore this bill should be voted NO.
