As the president of Perkins Pond Protective Association in Sunapee, NH, I fully support the need for financial support for lakes to be able to combat the challenges from cyanobacteria blooms. Our small lake had not had blooms until 2025, and we have no funding to be able to combat it. Help from the state, from mooring fees contributing to the Cyanobacteria Mitigation Loan and Grant Fund would be very welcome.
