I feel this is TOO MUCH time to REQUIRE schools to fit into their day. I send my kids to school to learn reading, writing and arithmetic. I would rather have the hour home to play outside with friends. Between holidays, weather delays and special school events they hardly ever have a full week of school. I understand the benefits of play but it can happen outside school hours.
