HB 1388 arbitrarily excludes all legitimate charitable organizations that provide abortions from the types of organizations that can receive proceeds from legalized gambling. Abortion is legal in NH and there is no legitimate reason for abortion providers to be singled out and excluded from the types of organization that can receive proceeds from legalized gambling. This bill is yet another attack on legal abortion and an example of the Legislature acting as the morality police.
