Gilford's Taxes and assessed values are out of control. This has gotten worse over the last 5 years. I am not sure what Gilford does with all that money. Many owners are struggling to pay the taxes. So they may rent out their condo for a couple of weeks a year to pay those taxes. Now you want to tax that too. This is unbelievable. Maybe you should think about state tax on income like most states.
