I oppose HB 1068. Treating a family’s second home exactly like a commercial hotel ignores the reality of the sharing economy. STRs already contribute significantly via the Meals & Rooms tax; adding more layers of commercial regulation on private residences will only stifle the local tourism engine that our small businesses rely on.
