As a small farmer and a beekeeper, I'm very concerned about the use of neonicotinoid pesticides in agriculture. "Neonics" are toxic to all kinds of beneficial pollinators and contaminate soil and water. There is no reason to treat seeds with these chemicals, so I urge you to support HB 1086 to prohibit the sale of certain seeds treated with neonicotinoids. Thank you.
