Paul Frehner

It is an aberration, guided by too much certainty about how to tackle the problems we are facing as a people. Such a view stems from a mechanistic, hopeless and decontextualised experience of the world, Turning people into concepts and denying their humanity is misguided and wrong. I am concerned by the shift towards cruelty that is both, being allowed and promoted by the Republican party. It will not help, but make things worse. We dont need the death penalty. There are different ways we can deal with perpetrators. Death penalty cases are incredibily costly. Unfortunately we have little certainty in many cases, but especially when dealing with sexual perpetrators. See the Epstein case. You know what I am talking about.
