This is nothing more than a blatant attempt at more taxation and more bureacracy. As a lakefront owner I pay alot of real estate taxes, I pay a license fee for my boat trailer, for my boat and now you want to charge me for putting a raft in the lake for 4 months? The raft does not pollute, its close to the shore line and there is no reasonable justification to add another tax. If you need more revenue keep to the current taxes and incrementally increase them but the cost and bureacracy not to mention complexity of yet another permit is unjustified
