Lakes near me (Province Lake and Ossipee lake bays) are being compromised with cyanobacteria every summer now. A health danger to people and pets. We must work to educate the public about the causes and preventive measures. As a long time board member of Green Mountain Conservation Group, I know this organization is deserving of the grant funding that could be provided through this anchored seasonal platform fee by expanding GMCG's education and best management practices programs aimed at waterfront property owners.
