Floats left on a lake unnecessarily, just for the owner's convenience, can have a major impact on wildlife and the shoreline. Also Cyanobacteria is a major issue across our state. I do not live on a lake, though I do own a camp on a lake (Deering Lake) that does not have a major issue with Cyanobacteria Blooms, I am quite concerned with our economy and the environment. Floats left over the winter and Cyanobacteria both have major impacts to our state recreation industry and therefor our state economy.
