I support this bill because cyanobacteria is a pervasive problem in NH lakes and ponds. Cyanobacteria is a serious health risk and can severely limit public enjoyment of otherwise clean waterbodies. Increased funding sources are needed to educate the public and lake property owners about the ill effects of cyanobacteria, and to promote strategies to limit the risk of cyanobacteria blooms developing in our waterbodies.
