Asa teacher, a parent, an avid reader and lifelong learner I oppose this bill. Banning books is a violation of democratic principles and the free exchange of ideas. It is narrow minded and fear based. Who decides what gets banned? Based on what criteria. This bill is a way to disappear and discount the voices of so many. LGBTQ folks, women, people of color. NH is better than this. We can do better.
