School committee should not be mandating what is taught in schools or how it is taught. Allows for very biased education. The principal would be spending all day responding to complaints no matter how outlandish. My guess is that if parents are so concerned about what their children are exposed to they would be better served to monitor their phones and internet use, as books, videos are available there.
