It is absurd that, under this bill, a complaint by a single parent could result in material being removed for hundreds of other children. It opens the door to allowing a minority of parents, or even a single parent, to impose their view of what is inappropriate onto others, including onto educators and librarians who are trained to be able to select material for students and instruct them in it. If a parent has a concern about a specific material or topic, they should peak to the school to find a solution that doesn't impose itself on others. It is just a way to ban books in disguise.
