I oppose this bill because statistics are useless if they are not true. In fact, they are harmful when false. The financial incentive to give false statistics is much greater than any token penalty which has proven never to be applied. If we truly care about women and their health and wellbeing, then they need to have true information so that they can make real and informed decisions for themselves. Imagine that your physician recommended a surgery or procedure for you and you asked for statistics on outcomes of such surgeries or procedures and you were given false information! This should never happen! We need to have the statistics obtained by those who have no financial incentive for falsifying the information or great enough penalties which will actually be carried out. Until then we must not pass this useless bill.
