SB 211 would require school sports teams to be expressly designated as male, female, or coed, It would deny transgender students the opportunity to participate on sports teams that align with their gender identity, and it would create a cause of action for violations of these requirements. Excluding young people from school sports based on who they are is reprehensible and harmful. Also, having the NH Legislature dictate restrictions on individual freedoms is hypercritical of the Republicans' lip service to local control and parental rights. Diversity makes our non-binary world go around.
