This bill is a ruse crafted by lobbyists for Planned Parenthood to essentially limit even reasonable enforcement and does not guarantee accuracy or completeness in reporting abortion statistics. NH needs to report abortion statistics like 46 other states, but this is not the proper bill and it is defective in a number aspects. For instance, a weak $100 fine assessable at the sole discretion of DHHS is not a deterrent to intentional misrepresentations or omissions in reporting. And that could mean such deceptive or incomplete information reported to CDC and health data stats used and distributed by NH-DHHS. The bill fails to even require the gestational age of the aborted baby thereby effectively concealing an illegal late-term abortion after viability or 24 weeks! Please vote ITL and let's get a better bill that does the job right!
